New Dell Inspiron 17 3000 no display

After unpacking my Dell inspiron 17 3000 I ordered off the official Dell store it does not work.

When following the quick start up guide for a new laptop provided with the laptop all the inspiron 17 does is trys to startup, I can hear the battery/fans spin up, and the caps lock lights up, as well as the charge port. Tge charge port flashes amber and then white. It switches between the two. The caps lock stays lit up white. The power button doesn't light up whether on or off. And the screen stays black.

Any ideas on how to fix this or should I return it?
