Raid on dell laptop

I have a Dell laptop Inspiron 15 7000 I noticed this drive is in raid ? I tried to load AHCI but would not boot only booting with raid.

I noticed Dell use raid on new laptops but do i really need raid is there any benefit to this. I want to upgrade my ssd to m.2 nvme drive and a larger 1TB instead of 515gig. If i clone my disk will it boot windows.

Or do I have to get rid of the raid before doing any think to my new drive and how do i turn raid of and go to AHCI
