Random black screen and inability to start computer at all
Today I was using my Inspiron 7577 and running a game while briefly switching to my chrome app. Then, a windows virus scanner popped up and said something along the lines of no viruses had been found or something. Then, right as I was reading it my screen went completely black and my computer turned off. There was no shutdown screen or anything. Then when I tried to turn it back on, nothing happened. I have tried removing the battery and holding the start button multiple times and nothing has happened. I am not sure what to do to fix this at the moment

I cannot run it whether it is plugged in or not, even if the battery is removed

That's very bad.
Do you hear anything when you press the Power button? Is the laptop trying to do something?

There are no external devices connected
the idictation light on the actual laptop itself remains off but the light on the charging cord brick is green

Thank you for your message. What is the status of the power button light when you start the computer? Is the light blinking or steady amber or white?
Does the light on the AC adapter stay on when connected to the notebook?
Do you have any external device connected USB printers, docking stations?
