SuperSpeed USB 2.0 port ???

Hello, The G series laptops are found under the Inspiron section of the forum.

I'm not sure where you are seeing this but the Dell site here in Australia shows the laptop as having Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ports and Superspeed USB 3.2 ports. If yours says something different then it would be a typo.

Here's what I see on the product description:

"SuperSpeed USB 2.0" also known as "High Speed"

USB 3.0 is "Super Speed"

USB 3.1/3.2 and 4.0 are "Super Speed +"

Agreed - except this: "SuperSpeed USB 2.0" also known as "High Speed"

According to Wikipedia, USB 2.0 High Speed (480 Mbit/s) is not AKA "SuperSpeed" but is AKA "High Bandwidth".

So, I will assume that "SuperSpeed USB 2.0" in the product description is a typo and is actually "High Speed USB 2.0".

Sorry for any confusion but it was more of a suggestion that they could have been confused in the description???

Nonetheless "Super Speed" is not just a USB 3.2 Specification.

And according to WiKipedia USB 3.2 is "Super Speed +"

Agreed. But to be clear, SuperSpeed is not a USB 2.0 specification.
