UPGRADE: 16GB RAM or NVMe? Or, Neither?
I bought a 7567 to replace my embarrassingly old Acer S3 as a daily driver.
I typically don't play games but I'm playing a few classics now. Main reason I wanted to upgrade was for video encoding. I'm thrilled with the laptop so of course I want to upgrade.
Right now it has the stock 8gb or RAM. I added a 240gb SanDisk SSD and since it gave the option I'm using it and the micron 1100 256gb in RAID 0.
Speeds are pretty good I think. But NVMe should be in the 1400MB/s range on this laptop from my reasearch. Plus the new Corsair MP510s are almost dirt cheap.
I'm debating whether doubling the memory would be a better upgrade. From my understanding the 7567 doesn't use dual channel for memory(?) though. So there wouldn't be a speed increase, just more RAM.
The last option is neither as the RAID drive is snappy, and there would be no speed increase from memory so neither would be a noticeable upgrade.
Ideas, and opinions please.

If your SSD situation seems plenty quick enough I would certainly go for more RAM. Video encoding tends to be memory intensive, if I am not mistaken. And 16 GB , or more, would certainly improve performance if you are working with large files. And according to Rishi (a Dell moderator in another forum...
The 7567 model supports "Up to 2400 MHz Dual-Channel DDR4" memory
A user posted that the BIOS shows single channel but CPU-Z shows dual channel operation. Just be sure to buy a matched pair of RAM.

Awesome. That's what I needed to know. Plus installing RAM would certainly be easier than imaging a drive.
