USB 3.0 to 4k @60Hz
I bought a 4k monitor recently(Philips 276E8VJSB). But I found out that it wasn't running 4k in 60 Hz. It turns out the laptop I'm using to connect to the monitor had an HDMI 1.4a output. My laptop is Dell Inspiron 15 7559 signature edition. I'm thinking of using a USB 3.0 port to connect through USB3.0 extender with USB-C to DisplayPort converter to the DisplayPort in the monitor. Will it work? Is there any way of getting 4k @60hz from my laptop on the monitor?

@subhransu91 One quick additional note. I wouldn’t recommend using a USB extender here. If you get the adapter I linked, then plug it directly into your system’s USB 3.0 port and then get a regular DisplayPort cable of the required length.

@subhransu91 USB-C to DP cables/adapters require a USB-C port that supports video output. Your Inspiron 7559 doesn’t seem to have one, so that isn’t an option for you. There are USB-A “regular USB” adapters that will output 4K 60 Hz, like this one, but you should be aware that they rely on “indirect display” technology called DisplayLink — not to be confused with DisplayPort — in order to achieve video output, since regular USB doesn’t natively support video. And DisplayLink comes with some drawbacks that can be significant in some use cases; I wrote about those in the post marked as the answer in this thread. Of course with that system, an adapter like this is your only real option for getting 4K 60 Bz, so you may be fine with those issues. I just want you to know what to expect. If that isn’t acceptable to you, then unfortunately you have the wrong system for your purposes. You’d need a system with either an HDMI 2.0 output or a USB-c port that supports video (or Thunderbolt 3).
