Upgrading Laptop HDD to SSD

I own a Dell G3 3579 that i bought about 9 months ago and is still in warranty. I want to upgrade the laptop's hard disc to a SSD. Will doing it myself void warranty? If it will, then am I allowed to bring the laptop to a Dell centre with the SSD to get it fixed?

It won't void the warranty, but neither will Dell install or support the drive.  You should retain the original for the duration of the warranty -- if service is required, reinstall the original before sending the system in for that.
