Windows 10 installation on Inspiron 5558

I am planning to install Windows 10 on my Inspiron 5558  and would like to get some input for a successful install.  I am running  Win 8.1  Bios A2.   Windows 10 was offered as an upgrade previously, but I did not take it at the time.  Also , I plan on installing a new SSD to replace the original HDD.

Is an upgrade might recommended over a clean install? Several post I found there are issues with a clean install.

Is there any issues with Dell not supporting the 5558 on Win 10 .  Dell refers to Microsoft for any driver issues.

Will I need to update to the latest BIOS?  (I usually do not update BIOS unless there is a specific problem due the risk).

TIA

I have always preferred a clean install. It makes for a clean streamlined installation of Windows. Windows 10 is supported on the 5558 and in fact Windows 10 drivers can be found on the 5558 support page here. There is no need to update the BIOS unless you have a specific problem with the installation or the system after the installation which is BIOS related. The media creation tool which creates a bootable Windows 10 flash drive can be found here.
