Your system does not recognize the attached battery ; Dell inspiron 7567
I bought my laptop last December 2017, and I'm sure i haven't done anything to damage the battery. I only plug in the charger when gaming even if its still at 50% or something like that. I started having these notifs about the system not recognizing the battery last January. I checked the BIOS it says that my battery's health is excellent and the AC adapter says charging. So I don't know why I keep getting these notifs. I just decided to ask for help now because I got a notif saying "Your system does not recognize the attached battery. Using and incompatible battery or a third party battery may increase risk of fire or explosion." So basically I got scared.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Azizzz
The battery was purchased from a third party other than Dell or battery is the original one that came with computer when purchased brand new?
In the meantime, I'd suggest you reseat the battery to see if that will make any difference. Please read service manual thoroughly before attempting to open computer case and removing battery.
http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/inspiron-15-7567-laptop/manuals
1. Power off system, remove all peripherals, AC adapter and battery.
2. Press and hold the Power Button for about 15 seconds to drain all residual power from the system
3. Replace battery, adapter, power on system. Hopefully battery is charging again and there's no more battery error code.

If reseating battery doesn't fix the problem:
Reset BIOS to defaults by following the steps in link below. Hopefully this will get the BIOS to detect the battery.
How to restore the BIOS (System Setup) defaults on a Dell ...
If none of the troubleshooting steps didn't fix the issue then it's time to purchase a brand new genuine Dell battery. You could do this by asking Dell out of warranty department for a battery is in stock.
Fix Your PC or Tablet | Dell United States
Or.....
Check a third party such as Ebay, Amazon or Parts-People.com

Thank you for your message. I will be glad to assist you on this.
Have there been any BIOS changes made? Are you using the battery that is shipped with the computer?
Please check the status of AC adapter & battery in BIOS.
For my reference, please click on the message tab next to your avatar– click “New Message” & search for my Dell username (Dell-Sreejith R) & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.
What is a Dell Service Tag and how do I locate it?

We had the same issue, a simple overdue Dell System Update solved the problem. The battery charge indicator works fine now.

Since the system is under warranty, call Dell for warranty repair or replacement of the battery.

Hi,
same problem happens to me. Suddenly the BIOS complains the battery is not recognized. While AC is OK.
This is the info I got after a battery report.
Installed batteries
Any clue?
Thanks in advance.

Same problem for me, and I am working on a fix for it. Installing updates, if that doesn't work then I'll have to back up and try out the bios restore, but I highly doubt that is going to fix it. Seeing as this laptop is 3 years old (almost 4 years old), the battery life may still be good. Checking a stock battery life for the battery :
Seeing as it is made by SANYO for Dell, I am going to assume that the battery made for the Dell Inspiron 15 is very similar to this battery. My battery report gave no clue to me. So that's out, and the numb nuts that asked us to check for it gave us no solution to the fix. The battery, in most cases, is no longer covered in the warranty as this is a "wear and tear" part to the laptop. They are designed to go out from 18 to 24 months. At least my battery is. The most you can get from it is about 36 months. Which is decent, but not probably to fix.
Google search is my MLA sitation lol.. "DELL 6HY5941F average battery life".
I'll give a status update if anyone replies. (Good thing the laptop works while plugged in still ^.^)

Hi vpinglay,
Thanks for posting. Apologies that your system is not performing as expected.
Have you tried this?: Completely power down the laptop and remove the cord from the computer. ... Power on the computer without the battery, allowing it to boot completely. Completely power the computer down and remove the cord once again. Reinstall the battery, plug in the power adapter and re-boot the computer.
If the system is under warranty, please contact me privately. Be sure to include your personal information (name, address, telephone, email) and your computer's service tag number in your message. Thanks.
If there is no warranty, then you could contact our Out of Warranty team to get a quote for a paid service call.

I'm experiencing similar battery issues.
Inspiron 17R 7720, service tag running Windows 7
BIOS is Version A17, Release Date 01Jun2015.
I've been using a non-Dell replacement battery for about the past year without issue. Suddenly, the computer will not run while on battery only. If I unplug the power cable, it will die immediately.
Mouse over battery/power icon in status bar: "Battery 92%, plugged in, not charging". When starting, the BIOS check states that the battery is at the wrong temperature (or something of the sort).
If I unplug the power supply, the computer dies immediately, so it is not receiving any power from the battery.
I installed the original DELL battery. I receive a BIOS message at startup saying that a battery was not detected.
I did a Power Down - Remove Power Cord - Remove Battery - Press&Hold Power - Restart w/o Battery - Shutdown w/o Battery - Remove Power Cord - Install Battery - Restart sequence with no change
I just purchased a new, non-Dell battery. The BIOS check sees a battery issue regarding temperature. After starting, this battery is also "75%, plugged in, not charging".
