< This was actually the community answer to that for the reason you just asked here. >
For most instances while you game, frames drops:

  • When there is high temps: Use either AWCC [goto Dell Support downloads] or download from Github an G15 5515-targeted app to max the fan speed up.
  • Due the instance that you're relying too much to Dell's / Windows Update for drivers: With this happens, to speed up your PC there's only one option: install both GeForce Experience + AMD Software. AMD Software provides latest "Recommended" drivers that are too late compared to Dell's drivers while GFE can do so while also bloating you out with advantages [e.g., game recording, free giveaways, etc.,] -- if you are in Ashika/Al-Mazrah, you're probably get nagged by Activision for these drivers.
  • If you just relying too much on the battery rather than switching to primary use with an AC Adapter. Bad news, your PC will throttle to guarantee optimal battery if you game with the unplugged AC Adapter. But there is a good news: If you doesn't unplug the AC Adapter when the PC is too full - the battery actually got its intergated controls which they will stop the charging once the battery is too full. Plus if you plug in, the computer will be desparatedly using power from where they are connected, and NOT from the battery. https://youtu.be/cPWolWC9LxA?t=71
  • Concerned while you had got all done there? Hold tight for more guidance.
