You asked the same question in a thread earlier. It's still not clear exactly what you're trying to do.
The system uses a software-controlled hybrid setup, directed through nVidia Optimus and is available with both 60 Hz and 144 Hz display panels - you have one or the other; if you don't see the 144 Hz option, you have the 60Hz panel. In that case, to upgrade you'll need to replace the screen.
If you're trying to use the nVidia GPU as primary on an external display, note that it's not how the system is engineered. The system uses the Intel GPU as primary at all times, calling the nVidia GPU into use with the Optimus driver. The nVidia GPU isn't the primary GPU and cannot be made so.
There are some systems in the G7 series that do have the nVidia GPU wired to the external display port -- but not the system you have.

If you don't see the option, you don't have the 144 Hz screen. There weren't many of these shipped with 144 Hz panels - and bear in mind this model does not support GSync so even with the 144 Hz panel, you have no direct path to the display from the GPU -- the Intel GPU controls all video data, even that processed by the nVidia GPU.

There is, but you'll need to replace the screen (which in turn will void your warranty, if the system is still under warranty).

If you have a 144 Hz display, it will show up as an option in your display settings.
What is the exact Dell part number listed as your display panel?

Hi, I've asked a question before, did not get any solution to that. It seems like, I have similar issue here. My laptop (rtx3050) has a 120hz monitor (it DOES have it, even the sticker says it), and when I use an external monitor, every game runs smoothly. When I try to play only with the integrated monitor, it says, the display adapter is "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter", and the screen refresh rate states, it's only 64hz (and no, it's not, maybe the integrated GPU has its peak at 64hz). In the Settings, I cannot change anything, and in the NVIDIA settings it says, the games I want, use the Nvidia GPU (though they definitely dont, as 10 fps in Witcher 3's menu is not what an rtx3050 can do). Any solution to this, maybe?
