keyboard has massive lag

Question

I am having problems with Inspiron 5593. The keyboard has massive lag to the extent that I cannot type a simple massage, the words will have letters missing all words are connected some letters will not show, this happens on any type of document or website.

It has never failed when entering pin number on start up, all updates are up to date W10 and Dell. It started about 4 to 6 months ago.

Is it a DELL or W10 problem?

I do have a DELL usb stick (W10 product key) I assume that would re install W10

In case you wondered I made this post on my DELL vista then copy/ paste to a usb stick and enter from lap top.

I do not seem to be getting anywhere, last night it came right with keyboard working faultlessly on all web sites and all MS documents so I made a restore point.

This morning it was back to keyboard lag, just not separating words etc, so I did a restore, it made no difference it still has lag and cannot be used, one thing that has changed is that as you type a window appears with suggestions as to what you want to type if you select one of these suggestions it separates the words but takes fore ever to type a doco, also if you dictate it works ok but it is inconvenient to use this method and does not make sense with subjects. So what to do is it DELL or Windows.

I  pluged  in the dell desk top key  board and it  was perfection so  is   this   a faulty lap   top key board
