power and battery issues
I have a problem it goes like this " i pluged my ac adapter plug in then power indicator light goes on my laptop.then i pressed my power button then laptop doesnot start .it start after only when i pressed it for long time (6-7 sec) then power indicator light goes off then laptop turn on i.e( start) .what is its problem? and another problem is "battery charging stuck at 55% .it shows only plug in sign.but not charging?

Unplug the system, disconnect the battery and hold the power button for 30 sec.
Plug the adapter into the wall only (not the system). Power up on AC only - if it will, but not with the battery installed, the battery is bad.
If it will power up, go into Setup and check the status of the AC adapter (F2 at powerup). It should show its rated power output (45W, 65 W, 90W, etc.). If it shows unknown, try another OEM adapter. If that too is unknown, replace the DC jack in the system.
