Experience with OneFS 8.1 and mixed hardware generations?

does anybody have experience with the new OneFS 8.1 (or 8.1.0.1) especially in mixed hardware environments with Gen5 and Gen6 Nodes? Currently the upgrade file for OneFS 8.1.x is not general available.Target Code is still 8.0.0.4.

If you want to upgrade existing Gen5 clusters to 8.1 you have to address that to DellEMC support. New Gen6 clusters are shipped with 8.1 but for adding new Gen6 nodes to an existing Gen5 cluster you have to upgrade first to 8.1.

Phil
