Thanks Mark. When I look at the token I don't see the UID/GID. tells me I am not mapping the users. Which is what I expect considering what I am experiencing I need to figure out how to connect the two.
how to create a user mapper rule that maps (joins) the Windows user to the Unix user? I want to integrate rfc 2307 to get unix users mapped in AD and wanted to create this rule. I'm looking at the GUI menu, Cluster Management, Access Management, Access zones, system, details, User mapping rules, there was none, create user mapping rule, Operation "join two users together" ?? join this user (Cifs) + with this user ( is this unix user ??).. I dont see a document explaining these stuffs in powerlink. do you have a cli equivalent to map these users ?

I'd first take a look at the on disk identity...
isi auth mapping token -w --name=Domain\\Winuser
Make sure that that all looks kosher and has the right sid and unix gid..
