Is there a Isilon Connection Limit
Was wondering is there a Max SMB Limit for the number of connections by the same user account with the Isilon System? (from Windows or Mac systems) i.e. Can a lab of PC's be logged in for read-only access to a share as the same account x times?
Thanks

Is it the SMB2 credits per client part?
SMB2 credits per client = 1,024
"Per client" means "per node, per client." The server will provide this many SMB 2 credits for any client connecting to a node.
Only ask as a Windows machine gave a too many connections as this user account error the other week. Didn't get the exact text unfortunately but it hasn't happened again either...
Thanks

I'm after "How many times can the user John Doe connect to the same Isilon based SMB2 share? (from different devices)"
5,10,50,100, no limit
Thanks

could not find anything official on technet but i can tell that in my environment i have one windows 2008 server that creates 128 concurrent sessions to one node, it's a DNA sequencer.
