Isilon - LACP

We are planning to implement LACP on Isilon and wanted to do with no impact. My question is  When we take the NIC's out of static pool as well as dynamic pool on a node, does clients connected to dynamic pool mover over to other existing nodes automatically?

Any other suggestions .....  Thanks.

We don't have Smartpools advanced license enabled on the clusters. Do we need Smartpools license required for this implementation? because we have one cluster already implemented with LACP.  We don't have any SMB clients. Active Clients won't experience any downtime right?

Thanks.

You need SmartPools Advanced licensed and properly set up for this.

NFS clients silently (invisible to users) reconnect to the original IP on the new  NIC.

SMB clients also reconnect, but active file transfers can get interrupted in

a way that users notice it.

Sorry, that should have been SmartConnect Advanced, not SmartPools.
