IsilonSD Cluster Creation fails

I would like to toss out there that I am having a very similar issue as well.

My feedback in VMware is identical, where I go through the motions in the create IsilonSD plugin, and at the very end when I go to create the cluster, I get the same error message.

There is no record in the vCenter logs of it attempting to create some VMs, and there are not additional VMs created on my datastores.

On the management cluster, I also do find Java exceptions being thrown.

Looking at a few other posts on this topic.

I can not start up IsilonSD

Here, it is discussed that IsilonSD Management Server 1.0, which is current as of this posting, only supports up to vSphere 5.5 u2.  I'm running 6 in our lab, and that is likely the issue I'm having, as others are experience in the linked thread, among others.

Yes, IsilonSD Edge currently only supports version 5.5 of vSphere.  We have people trying to stand up SD Edge clusters on version 6 with no luck.

Support for version 6 of vSphere is coming soon.  Thanks.

Thanks for the hint. Yes, that's right, I'm using vSphere 6.

Do you have an idea, when the next release of IsilonSD is available?

It would be nice, if you can give us an rough time planning.

The next release is coming out in early Q3 and that release will support vSphere v6.  So, not long.
