Migrate data from Hitachi HCAP to EMC Isilon?
Hi Experts,
I would like to migrate data stored in Hitachi Content Platform version 4 (HCAP) to EMC Isilon, but I have no idea how to migrate it to EMC Isilon. I'm new to EMC Isilon. Is there any tool for migration or anyone know how can I mount Isilon directory to HCAP for migration purposes? Thanks.
Regards,
Alice

Hi Alice,
I don't have the exact steps for the system you are working with, but EMC has a couple of resources to help you with this. There is a Professional Services Team that can assist in the entire migration process. There may be an additional cost for their services. Contact your account team to verify costs, and/or for more information.
Otherwise, there are a number of Built-In Migration Tool Guides depending on your version of OneFS. You should be able to locate it with this search:
https://support.emc.com/search?text=migration%20tools%20guide&product_id=15204&resource=DOC_LIB&searchLang=en_US
The version of OneFS should be displayed in the WebUI or from the command line with the following command:
#uname -a

Hi Sjones5,
The answer is very useful. I will check on the Built-in Migration Tool and decide on the method. Thanks a lot.
