Mount request errors: STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND
Hi all,
sometimes we got the following error messages at the OneFS event log:
Mount request from xx.xx.xx.xx for /xxx/xxx xxx/xxx failed with error: STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND
The last time the error event occurs was last night. The event ends the same time it starts. It was generated by a UNIX client through a mount request. Looking at the client I cannot find any abnormality. But the directory name of the Isilon folder that is mounted contains a space character. At the UNIX client mount command the space character is written "\040". Obviously normal but maybe a hint?
At OneFS I did not find any log file containing this error. Neither the var/log/nfs.log nor the /var/log/lsassd.log contains the error.
Which log files I have to check for that error? Because I don't find any log entry I cannot clearly say if the error is generated by a SMB mount request or by a NFS mount request.
At the nfs.log file I found a lot of errors with the same error message regarding other NFS mount requests to an other directory.
[nfs] Problem inserting alias /xxx 0xc0000034 (STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND)
How can I investigate this issue more detailed? Do we have to change or check something at client side?
Thanks for your comments,
Phil
