There aren't any known issues with SmartConnect according to the release notes anyway. There are lots of things that can seem like it is an issue with SmartConnect but without more detail, I don't have much more to offer. There are a couple of troubleshooting guides that you could start with. Otherwise I recommend opening a service request with Support.
