Here is a link to the administrator guide and if you look on page 80, I would double check that you have your configuration set correctly. https://dell.to/3FVdfuC
Is it mapped to the primary domain? I don’t see any settings on the unit that allows it to specify which type of name it is getting from active directory.

Hi Sam,
Thanks for the link. Yes, we did configured it using this documentation and are able to authenticate.
However, we are seeking users should authenticate to AD, with their ‘sAMAccountName’ and not with ‘UserPrincipalName’
Example:
User: DOMAIN.CORP\abcuser
sAMAccountName: abcuser
UserPrincipalName: abcuser@domain.com.in
So, in this example we want to use ‘abcuser’ for the login and its correct authentication happening in AD.
Best

Hi Josh,
Yes, I guess it is mapped to the Primary Domain. Any command to check that from Isilon.
Yeah, we want to avoid using the email address(UPN lines up with email address here).
We want to use just that small alias name. This needs to be doable, I guess.
Thank You.
