Question about Isilon Cloud Pools
Hello,
I've been reading through the Cloud Pool configuration/documentation in the OneFS8 Admin guide but haven't come across this item one way or the other.
Is it possible to throttle the amount of bandwidth an Isilon cluster will use when uploading data to an object store provider via Cloud Pool settings? I know we can compress the data and while that will help I don't see a way to throttle how much bandwidth Cloud Pool uploads will utilize.
I'm concerned about saturating links (e.g., AWS Direct Connect) during uploads, especially the initial setup since I'm looking at quite a lot of data even with compression turned on. Any way to do this right now? If not, is this a feature that's coming in future OneFS releases?
Thank you!

Unfortunately, no. There is not a way to throttle CloudPool data. We had to use network throttling. As great as CloudPools can be, I feel there are quit a few major features still missing (ie. throttling, comprehensive reporting, GUI configuration).

I've contacted the product managers that own these areas.
In the meantime, please file a feature request.
Thanks!
