Reset root password on an inherited EMC Isilon cluster?

Hello.

I inherited an unconfigured Isilon cluster when I joined as a sysadmin. I'm trying to log in and start configuring it, with one big problem. I don't have the root credentials (or any other credentials).

Documentation only shows how I can change the password after I'm logged in. How can I reset the password in my case of not knowing what it is?

Could anybody help?

Thanks.

Please move your question to Isilon forum area - this is general DECN forum area.

If there are no active workloads on it and you don't care about the data that's currently on the cluster, I'd just contact your Dell EMC Isilon account SE and re-image the cluster.

reacharavindh,

You can re-mage via USB as RobChang-Isilon-Seattle mentioned.
