Smart Card Authentication
Has anyone implemented smart card authentication? Using PKI certificates, authenticating to active directory, to access SMB shares on the Isilon. No issues with AD authentication using password, but not working with smart card. Our EMC rep. is telling me that is does work. Just curious if anyone is using smart card authentication. Thanks.

I can use a smartcard to map a share my user is authorize to connect to certainly.
We use Microsoft PKI and yubikey for two factor authentication that has supported smartcard functionality.
With that I can map a share I have rights to. The isilon doesnt really enter into the smartcard authentication as that is handled by the desktop connecting and the credential is presented to isilon after authentication.
I would love to see smartcard implemented for admin UI login.
