bug onefs 7.2.1.2 with directory containing extended UTF8 characters?
I am planning to upgrade my SMB cluster to the target code Onefs 7.2.1.2 from 7.2.1.1 just to be at the target code version like my NFS cluster already at 7.2.1.2. I heard that I should wait because of a possible bug with directory become invisible if it contain extended character (like French character). Is someone else have heard it. Should I wait for a fix? when it will be available?

Hello,
Based on the information I was able to find, this is a known issue and engineering is working on a fix. However, this was an issue reported in OneFS 7.2.1.2, and only reported for NFS clients. There is one issue in the 7.2.1 release notes that was addressed in 7.2.1.2 for SMB and character encoding: 163522.
Based on this, I would wait until the release of the fix for the NFS issue. You can track this with release notes or your EMC account team by looking for reference number: 164158.
