configure Alerts in isilon

Hi All

I have an Isilon cluster consists of 6 nodes and i want to configure this cluster to send an email if any event happened in the cluster.

I added the mail relay in the configuration page and the sender mail but how can i specify the receiver mail which all alerts and mails will be sent to it?

please help if you can.

Hello MoShokeir,

Are you following the steps for configuring alerts that is in our onefs guide?  Here is a link to the guide just incase you need it. https://dell.to/3dmVGKL

Hi All

I added my mail relay and  configured email setting as the document that @DELL-Josh Cr  sent.

I also tried to send a test mail and it didn't work

Is there any additional configurations?

it is not on the same subnet but the subnet of isilon is 10.53.223.x and this subnet contain all idrac IPs and idrac of the servers can reach the mail relay and send mails to it. also there is no rules specific for any device.

Is your SMTP server on the same subnet? Can you ping the server?

Hi,

Try the steps in this article. https://dell.to/3ppOZdi If that doesn’t work you may want to call phone support so they can go through the logs.

I think you need to login with an account that has an array service tag or serial number associated with it.
