isilon backup accelerator dell power vault lt4000
Hi
I want to know if the Isilon is compatible with dell power vault lt4000 (LTO5)
I read the documentation about this, I understood that Isilon could be compatible with the dell power vault lt4000 if the dell power vault lt4000 could have the protocol NDMP 3 ways and I could have a backup accelerator in the isilon cluster
is this correct?
is somebody work with them?
could you help me to check the compatibility between them?
Thanks

The library (robot) is always handled by the backup server/software, such as EMC NetWorker or Symantec NetBackup.
So this software (not the library) must be approved as compatible with your OneFS release.
In case of three-way NDMP you are using Ethernet, not FC. No backup accelerator is needed, and no compatibility requirements exist between OneFS and the the actual tape drives!
