reimage fails?
Hi All,
I recently received a 3 node cluster, we needed to re-image it.
All 3 nodes re-imaged properly, but I went back to re-image a node a second time.
I'm hitting the following error(many attempts, same error).
GEOM_MIRROR[0]: Device mirror/var0 launched (2/2).
cannot create single partition for var1
GEOM_MIRROR[0]: Device mirror/journal-backup launched (2/2).
GEOM_MIRROR[0]: Device mirror/var-crash launched (1/1).
Update/reimage failed. To troubleshoot the failure, review the log files found
in /var/log/update_*.txt on failed node.
IMDD/Flash start failed
Any ideas?
Is there a way just to reload it from scratch?
Thanks alot,
George

If you are able to take a look at the log file indicated, there may be more information useful to identifying the problem.
/var/log/update_*.txt
The log file will have a date stamp on it based on when the update was run. So you can look at the last few lines in that log and let us know what that says, it may help.
Also, for curiosity sake, why re-image a second time? Did the previous re-image complete properly? Has the node been rebooted after the re-image? I could see a further re-image being blocked because the current activities have locked the boot drives to wait for a reboot in order to complete the boot-time activities of the re-image before.

Thanks for the reply, reseating the drives did not help. Guess I've got to call support(as per the message on the screen).
