A few questions about the XPS M1730

I am looking to buy the XPS M1730 Laptop, and i have a few questions about it.

  1. Is it worth spending almost another 300 dollars on a better processor (2.6ghz)?
  2. If i overclock the 2.5 ghz processor how much faster can it go?
  3. If i overclock the 2.6 ghz processor how much faster can it go?
  4. What is the point of the 230 dollar physics accelerator, what does it do? Is it worth getting?
  5. Would you reccommend buying it?

1.  No.

2.  Not fast enough to make it worth the axtra heat it would produce, I'd say?

3.  See 2!

4/5.  I wasn't aware it was optional?

I'd rather have done without it myself... but there was no option to remove it on the 'Customize' page?

As for what it does:  A quick Google for 'Ageia PhysX' will provide more information about it, that we could ever give you ;)
