Our Dell Vostro 3460 laptop's wifi adapter keep disabling itself. We have to go into the device manager to enable it. But sometimes, the device does not even appear in the device manager.
We have reinstall the driver and reboot the system but it is useless. The error message: A physical WiFi adapter is not installed
Also, we just purchased this laptop and Dell website clearly shown that the warranty is still valid. Yet when we attempt to submit a support case, it stated that our warranty has expired!!!

I checked the warranty of your computer and the system has active warranty. There could have been a technical upgrade in the website for a while due to which the warranty status was incorrectly presented, apologies for the inconvenience.
As you have mentioned that the wireless network card is not detected under device manager, it should be a hardware connection problem, and reseating the WLAN card should fix the problem. To reset the WLAN card use this manual link and follow the steps.

Click the link above, Select the option “Removing and installing the components” àselect “Removing the Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) Card” to reseat the WLAN card.
If you are uncomfortable reseating the WLAN card, contact the Dell technical support for (contact#1800-394-7488) help in fixing the problem as the system is new and the warranty is active,

Thanks for quick reply. I manage to contact Dell Support to do this for me as the laptop is located at our branch office. They have also activated my warranty to allow me to submit technical support.
