Audio problems
I seem to have accidently uninstalled the sound on my Inspiron 1545 laptop. Can anyone tell me how to install it. I have recently upgraded to Windows 10.

I seem to have accidently uninstalled the sound on my Inspiron 1545 laptop. Can anyone tell me how to install it. I have recently upgraded to Windows 10.

You may not have accidentally uninstalled it. I've seen at least one post here had exactly the same problem when installing Windows 10. Best wishes!

Hello. Have you tried Windows System Restore? The path is Control Panel (icons view)>Recovery>Open System Restore. If you have a restore point dated earlier than when the problem began, it might undo the changes that caused the problem.
It might help to re-install the IDT audio driver. Download the driver, which is for Windows 7, and install it using compatibility mode.
