BIOS Update/UEFI For Dell Latitude E6400

Hello. I've discovered that a Core 2 Quad Q9000 should be compatible with my Dell Latitude E6400. No, it isn't recommended to install, however, I am not worried about overheating or anything of the sort.

When I tried installing it, BIOS would not start. The screen gave no display, and the num/caps/scroll lock were on, one of them flashing.

It's come to my attention that the BIOS may be too outdated for a Core 2 Quad Q9000, so I'm wondering if I could install a Precision M2240 BIOS or UEFI on the laptop to get things working. I'd really like to get this working because I already spent the money and have the processor, and I don't plan on upgrading.
