Blank screen on dell laptop e1405
A week ago I tried to start my laptop and my screen was blank. I tried to restart it. I blinked but screen would not come on. I tried to hook a external monitor up to it but both blinked but did not work. Anyone got any ideals??

Hi,
I assume you never see the Dell logo screen come up, it simply has a blinking cursor?
I would recommend you try the links on the notebook troubleshooting pages. You will probably want to scroll down to the section on No POST troubleshooting.
You may also want to check this article on the Microsoft forums.
Stop back and let us know if you're able to determine the cause of your problems. If none of this helps we may be able to find more information for you.
