Can't Access BIOS Setup on Dell Studio 15
I recently bought a Dell Studio 15 laptop and am quite happy with it except for this. I am a linux user but I also use Windows, so I want to install linux on a separate partition. The partitioning I can do during the installation of linux, however I cannot access my BIOS boot selection or setup.
The screen says to press F2 for setup, and to do so on a Studio 1558 you must press Fn and then F2. After pressing this madly during the POST screen the laptop boots as if I never pressed anything. When I press F12 (Fn + F12) the POST screen freezes and I get no response.

It's all ok, I managed to get to the BIOS setup. I had to try again and again using and not using the modfier key (Fn). Eventually not using the modifier key worked, but it took a few attempts.

how did you get into the bios setup? i'm having the same problem.
