Cannot get drivers for Broadcom BCM4318 to install on a c640
I think the questions says it all.
Broadcom do not have drivers on their website and do not seem to provide any support.

What model card (NOT chipset) do you have? That is, Dell wireless 370, etc.?
What operating system?

It looks like an Acer card - have you tried them for drivers?

No idea what model card but it has this on it's labels:
FB52UWX
F02H003.00 LF
42011614-00
on the label on one side and
001C260A8DB2
on the other.
Written on the card is:
T60H906
Rev:0
19.2157
Operating system is XP Pro and all up to date.
I can install the driver and it shows on software in control panel.
On power up it recognises the new hardware but cannot find the drivers.
I wondered if there was a quirky way of installing it. I have tried all things in various combinations.
I know a lot of people have problems with this card. I bought it from amazon and it clearly showed it was compatible but getting it to work is another matter! It is not a Dell card. They only show the TruMobile 1500 which is the one I want to upgrade from (11 to 54Mbps!)
Any help would be great.
I am not a techie but bright and persitent!

Here's the driver you are looking for:
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriverDetails/DriverFileFormats?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04&DriverId=R115321
It is the Dell TrueMobile 1300 PCMCIA
I was going nuts too looking for the driver for the Wifi on a Dell Latitude C640.
This didn't show up under downloads for this model but it does the job.
