Cannot log on, "domain not available"
When I boot up Windows, it no longer give me the multi-user screen, but just the box. (A line for user name and a line for a password)
When I type in my username's password and press enter, it give me a box, which title is "Logon Message" which reads, "The system cannot log you on now because the domain I6000 is not available."
I have tried logging in using Administrator, and on every F8 screen option (safe mode, safe mode with network, safe mode with command prompt, last known good, enable vga, enable boot logging, debugging mode, directory services restore mode) and nothing helped.
It's running Media Center. This computer was only used on a wireless network to get internet, no domain (I don't even know what one is!)
I read some stuff online, and it really didn't help at all.
Keep in mind, I CANNOT actually get into the operational Windows interface, just the login box.
I have been, however, able to get into the Recovery Counsel (or whatever its called, kinda like DOS) via the Windows XP CD.
All I want to get is some files that are only on that laptop.
Inspiron 6000 Pentium M 1.6Ghz, 1.5GB RAM, 60GB HD, Windows MCE.
