Connecting directly to the network with a cable

Does anyone know if it is possible to connect directly to a network (RJ-45 connector), perhaps using a docking station?  I will be using the laptop in a place that has no Wi-Fi but does have direct connect to the internet.

The laptop is a: Inspiron 13" 7000 series 2 in 1 7348 running Windows 10

Thanks for your help :)

Hi Toybox02,

It depends on the docking station that you would use. For instance, a D3100 USB dock has a RJ45 Port and you could connect the system to the docking station accordingly - see this link - http://dell.to/1OgI9zC

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for your reply! :)

Do you know if the Dell Universal Adapter (DA100) would work in the same situation?

Thanks
