DELL 355 Bluetooth in Windows XP x64

Hi

I've just installed Windows XP x64 Edition in my Vostro 1700 as secondary OS. After lots of headaches, I've found all the drivers but one, the 355 Bluetooth driver. I've tried to use the Vista x64 driver but after installing it fails to load the device, I think it is not compatible with XP 64. Where can I find a XP x64 compatible driver for DELL 355 Bluetooth module?

Thank you.

I still use XP 32 and older version of Dell Bluetooth Module, however:

Some of the 'stickys' at the top deal with the problem you mention.

I found that the DELL Wireless 355 Bluetooth adapter is actually made by Broadcom (therefore the bcm2045 name under the unknown device in windows device manager). After a lot of hunting around, I came across a posting that shows the ANYCOM USB-250 Bluetooth Adapter with ERD is using the same bcm2045 guts, and ANYCOM actually bothers to provide the Windows XP x64 driver. Their package is actually really nice, and worked very well with my new Inspiron 1521 with the AMD Turion x64 processor and Windows XP x64 professional installation.

You can view the ANYCOM download page here:
http://www.anycom.com/products/bluetooth_it_pc_accessoires/usb_250_usb_adapter/?id=102&partno=CC3036&tab=support&tab=support

You can download the file directly from this link: http://drivers.anycom.com/bluetooth/usb-200-250/anycom-bluetooth-usb200-250-windows-v5-1-0-3900.exe

Hope this helps .. it sure helped me.
