It's not a matter of affecting the video - you won't. If you have a Celeron CPU, a Core 2 of modest speed may help. Beyond that, it's not worth it - don't spend a lot on a CPU upgrade; with the poor video chip in this system, it won't gain you anything.

Any of the Core 2 Duos on the 800 MHz bus will work. The ones running 1066 MHz won't, nor will the new Core i CPUs.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEES CPU'S
Intel Core 2 Duo T7800 2.6Ghz 4MB L2 800MHz NR
Intel Core 2 duo T9500/2.6Ghz/6MB/800Mhz SLAQH CPU

The T9500 is a faster CPU because of the larger cache.
Both are like putting a V8 engine in a Hyundai Accent - they're both overkill. They'll just shift the bottleneck to the video, which can't be upgraded.
