Dell™ A215 Speakers

Hi,

During moving I somehow managed to lose the power cable for my Dell™ A215 Speakers - anyone know where I can get a new power cable for this (Europe)

thanks,

Philip

I also have A215 speakers. The speakers don't apepar to be working but they don't have, and never have had, a separate power supply. I was considering getting replacement speakers on eBay, but all the speakers featured there appear to have their own power supply. Can anyone help? Nick

The Dell A215 speakers require the 12 volt 0.5 amp power supply that was supposed to be included with them when shipped from the factory. You can get a replacement power adapter for the A215 speakers from Amazon, or you can get a used set with adapter from ebay pretty cheap.

I have received the adapter and installed it but no sound appears, although the icon at the bottom right of the screen indicates that speakers are attached. The light has gone on in front of the speaker.

Hello. I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I would connect the speakers to another device that has a headphone jack, such as an mp3 player, for the purpose of testing the speakers.

I have done that. The speakers were working. I have restored the setup to a previous setting. The speakers are now working. Nick
