Dell Inspiron 11 3148 Broken Keyboard
I got my Inspiron about 4 months ago and my keyboard worked great until about the 3 month and the A key worked every once and a while, But slowly almost all my keys on the left side of the keyboard were broken such as my, A, CAPS LOCK,1, Q and Z. If any one can help me please reply.

Hello, no kidding, I have the same exact problem and came to look on the forum for an answer. Same keys and same time frame. Sounds like our units came off the line at the same time and there is a defect somewhere.

Same thing for me. Started with the 1, then the A, then noticed the Q and Z. Has anyone addressed this defect???

If your computer is under warranty then Dell will fix it for free just contact them (I found that chat works the Best)

Yes I called tech support and they did a remote repair to the bios using dell click to fix. So far it is working. Mine was under warranty still.

I called tech support and they fixed it with a remote hook up. working fine now.

Mine was a hardware problem not a software
