Dell Inspiron 15.6' 7548 Processor speed?
On the Dell and Best Buy site it says that the processor speed of this laptop, which is an inspiron 15 7000 series, specifically 7548, is "up to 3.0 GHz with Turbo Boost Tech". It also says it in the specs that it is just 3.0 GHz without the turbo part. I want to know what is the raw processor speed without the turbo boost, or if 3.0 is the normal speed. thank you guys.

Hi,
Simple answer is that it is most likely a 2.4 ghz processor speed normally, but the turboboost can push it to 3.0 ghz speeds when the CPU is under heavy usage.
More detailed answer: I assume you're referring to the Intel Core i-7 5500U processor. The tech spec's page shows it as a 2.4 ghz with up to 3.0 ghz with Turbo. You can also take a look at this article on comparing processor speeds with and without turbo.
