Dell Latitude E5420

Hello! Help me to understand.

A laptop DELL Latitude E5420. Motherboard 0H5TG2. RAM 1x2GB 1333MHz 1.5V

I would like to increase the RAM to 8GB. On the official website DELL I offered 2x4GB 1600MHz 1.35V

The question arises as to the compatibility of the new module to the motherboard. Does the motherboard such a memory? You can download somewhere on the motherboard manual?

I also wish to change the HDD to the SSD. SSD 512GB can I install? Do I understand that to do that I need to buy a SSD form factor 2.5"?

Thank you in advance...

1.35 V memory will work in place of 1.5 on this system.  Problems arise if you try to use 1.5 V RAM on boards newer than Haswell -- where you MUST use 1.35V RAM.  DDR4 has stepped the voltage down to 1.2V.

Yes, you can use 2X4 1.35V LV soDIMMs.

The memory speed will be set by the memory controller on your CPU -- it'll simply step down to 1333 if your CPU doesn't support 1600.

No, to the memory upgrade - max is 2X4 = 8 G total.

Yes, to a 2.5" SSD.

Did not quite understand.

Now there is a laptop in one RAM 2GB 1333MHz 1.5V

I would like to increase the RAM to 8GB. On the official website DELL I offered two RAM, each 4GB 1600MHz 1.35V

The question arises as to the compatibility of the new module to the motherboard? In the new memory planks different frequency and voltage! Does the motherboard such a memory?
