Dell Precision M6700 - Missing Harddrive

I have inherited an old Dell M6700 laptop and it's missing a hard drive. I'm wondering if that's the only thing it needs (other than an operating system installed) to make it functional, and if it's worth it for the ~$100?

I've listed some of the specs below:

  • Processor = Intel Quad Core i7 2.6Ghz
  • Memory Installed = 16384 MB
  • Memory Available = 16278 MB
  • Memory Speed = 1600 MHz

I would mostly be using the computer for 3D CAD programs, other engineering software, and some very light online gaming.

Thanks!

Hi Retsied,

Thanks for posting.

The hard drive in that model can be replaced fairly inexpensively:
