Dell Refurbished Laptop Parts
Hi,
I am planning to order a replacement keyboard and fan for my Inspiron 1521. The parts are less expensive from Dell than from Parts-People, but Dell's parts are refurbished and I believe Parts-People uses new parts. Has anyone ordered refurbished parts like these? If so, what was their condition? Should I go with Parts-People for new parts or Dell for refurbished?

These parts are usually new. They are required to label any part that they buy in bulk (not having individual packaging from the supplier) as "refurbished". Most replacement parts would cost more to repair than the cost of a new one. Most everything in a laptop can not usually be refurbished.
