Dell Studio 15(55) issues

Hi all,

I'm am looking to buy a new notebook, and the Dell Studio 15 has really caught my eye (with the Intel i5 core). However, when browsing the internet, I have found many complaints about the fan not doing it's work properly (causing the notebook to shut down, or the fan turning constantly on). I was wondering if Dell fixed this problem... Secondly, there were some other issues as well, so here's my question:

Are there any (new) owners of a Studio 15 notebook, who can confirm that Dell has solved all problems? It would be a real shame to spend that much money on a product which does not do what it is supposed to do. Also, I believe many potential buyers would be interested to know how the situation with the Studios 15 (1555) is...
