Dell Support Sucks

I bought a xps 15z June 28.  Just tried skype for the first time.  Webcam does not work.  Tech support spends two hours trying to fix problem.  They advise me to restore and lose all programs etc that i've loaded.  They have a dept that can do what needs to be done without losing any data but won't do it for free.  $299 to get my computer fixed, maybe.  Thanks for nothing DELL.  I'll be sure to tell everyone I know how useless your out sourced support is.
