Dell Webcam Central v. 2.00.46 Problems with Skype on Windows 7
When i start using Skype, everything starts working correctly when I am connected to the other person. I can Use Effects: Video Effects, Avatars, etc.. After about a minute, I get the following message:
" To use this feature, ensure that the video streaming format is not MJPEG or H.264. "
At that point, I can't use Video Effects, Avatars etc.. The video of the other person is fine and sound is good too. I am not sure when this started. I recently installed 2.00.46 and can't remeber if this problem happend prior... I have reinstalled Skype and have reinstalled Dell Webcam Central 2.00.26 I am on the intranet when this occurs, if that metters adn not sure if it does it or not if I contact someone in another physical location.
Any suggestions? Could it be some CODECS at work here?

Just wondering, what model of laptop do you have and what version of software were you using before upgrading to 2.00.46?

jcsniper423,
Thank you. I went to send a message to a friend, using Skype and it crashed. I installed Skype beta 5.7.0.123 and it works, again.

I'm using a Dell XPS L702X. I tried a connection over the internet with anothe Dell in another city and everything works fine. When I connect to another laptop in my house, whihc is also a Dell laptop, is when I have the issues.
