It's almost a 2 year old laptop. How long have you been getting this error? What is the complete error? Have you run the Quick Test and then the Dell ePSA Diagnostics?
Which would point to an operating system or driver issue. Not a hardware fault. You will need to analyze when the error started and the Windows Update preceeding the error. Then see what the Update may have installed as far as drivers and possible go back to a previous driver.
While this is a question of my own, this may apply to the person's post as well.
In terms of finding out the Windows Update logs, they seem to cap them after a certain amount of time (which is insane as they used to catalog every single update I ever did on XP and Windows 7).
Is there a way to go back further than the install history they list under update?

It started a few months ago, but not frequent. I ran all the tests and diagnostics and passed - no issues found.
